A large fire has broken out at the Pepsi-Co factory on New Brunswick Avenue in Piscataway.
The fire started just after 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
Large plumes of black smoke could be seen for miles.
Residents have told News 12 New Jersey that they heard explosions just before the fire started.
Police are asking people to avoid New Brunswick Avenue, Carlton Avenue and Lakeview Avenue so that emergency crews have room to work.
It was not clear if anyone was hurt.
