
BRISTOLVILLE — Kenton Arthur Hyde, 81, of Bristolville, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022, at Gillette Nursing Home.
He was born Sept. 10, 1940, in Warren, the son of the late Ghordis A. and Maurine E. Davis Hyde.
Kenton graduated in 1958 from Warren G. Harding High School and continued his education at Purdue University, graduating in 1964, with his Bachelor of Science degree in industrial management.
He was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Army, having served from Feb. 18, 1964, until Feb. 3, 1968.
Kenton was employed as an accountant with Alcan Corporation from 1968 to 2005. His memberships and associations include Past Master of Carroll F. Clapp Masonic Lodge No. 655, life member of Cortland Lodge No. 529, Warren Commandery No. 39 Knights Templar, Royal Arch Masons of Ohio Mahoning Chapter No. 10, the Trumbull Genealogical Society and the Association for the Preservation of Pioneer Cemetery and Friends of the Warren Library.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta M. Graves Hyde of Bristolville, whom he married Dec. 28, 1972; two brothers, Larry D. Hyde of Warren and William M. Hyde of Woodstock, Vt.; three nieces and three nephews; two great-nephews; four great-nieces; and special nephews, Dan (Hannah) and Eric (Cara) Myers.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Masonic and military service will be held noon Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where a gathering of friends will take place one hour before the service.
Interment will be in Crown Hill Burial Park, Vienna.
