Kemet Electronics opens second factory in N. Macedonia

SKOPJE (N. Macedonia), October 17 (SeeNews) – North Macedonia’s government said on Monday that Kemet Electronics, a subsidiary of US electronic components maker Kemet Corporation, has opened a second factory in the country, an investment worth 23 million denars ($363,800/373,600 euro).

The new factory, located near Skopje, is expected to create 360 jobs, the government said in a press release.

Kemet Electronics employs 400 at its other production facility.

Kemet Electronics opened its first factory, focused on the production of standard capacitors, in 2012.
