Alex Beck joins Kames Capital as business development manager

Kames Capital has appointed Alex Beck as business development manager for the UK wholesale distribution team.

Based in London, Beck will manage accounts in the south east of England, covering wealth managers, financial advisers, fund of funds, family offices, fund platforms and banks.

Beck, who will report to head of sales Mark Savage, joins from Oxford Capital where he was a senior manager responsible for promoting the firm’s Enterprise Investment Scheme to IFAs, DFMs and family offices.

Prior to this, he was a business development manager at RAM Capital, focused on the distribution of tax-efficient funds. He has also held previous sales roles with Columbia Threadneedle and BNY Mellon.

Savage said: “Alex brings great knowledge and experience to Kames and we are confident that the skills he brings to the team will allow us to grow our extensive client base.”
