JIG Factory Performs Irish Dance at Louis Bay Library in Hawthorne

HAWTHORNE, NJ – On Saturday, March 7, Hawthorne’s Louis Bay 2nd Library and Community Center hosted an Irish Dance show in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.  The performance was held by JIG Factory, out of neighboring Ridgewood, directed by Susan Daly-Stanek.  The 2019 world champion dancers have competed internationally, including Ireland and Germany, and was ranked as one of the most popular programs at the library.

The dancers attend classes at least twice a week and students span the ages from pre-kindergarten to adults.  The Saturday show was estimated to have brought in approximately 80 spectators to delight in the Celtic spirit of the occasion.
