IT Procurement Lead – 3 -6 Month Contract – £550-£650 P/D Complex Deals + FTSE 100 – London/Remote
FTSE 100 financial services firm seeks a passionate, innovative, and ambitious IT Procurement professional to join their award-winning team and instil a high-performance culture across the Sourcing hub. With an outstanding reputation as a blue-chip procurement environment, this an excellent opportunity for an IT procurement expert to join an esteemed organisation on this 3-6-month contract assignment
As Global IT Procurement Manager – Complex Deals you will: –
- Successfully execute $Multi-Million cross-border deals across all Software spend areas including but not limited to software, hardware, telecoms, networks & consultancy services
- Engage with an executive stakeholder community, maximising the buy-in from an incredibly receptive group to drive forward-thinking and sustainable procurement methodologies
In order to qualify for this Technology Procurement opportunity, you must have: –
- Strong procurement, strategic sourcing and category management experience across IT & Technology categories
- Impressive track record of progression within your IT Procurement career to date (e.g. IT Buyer to Senior IT Buyer to IT Procurement Manager to Senior Technology Procurement Leader etc)
- Full working knowledge of the end to end procurement process (ITT, RFP, RFQ, contract drafting and negotiation, stakeholder management)
- Degree from a leading university (or equivalent)
- MCIPS (or studying towards) preferred but not essential
