Inverurie store reopens for customers

EAGER customers were delighted to see the former Co-op store, North Street, refurbished under the banner Greens of Inverurie as it opened its doors on Friday.

Store manager Paul Esposito welcomed shoppers to the premises which are now operated by Eros Retail, owners of Greens of Ellon and Greens of Peterhead.

Like its sister stores, the premises offers a wide range of local producers as well as selling Co-op own label products as their wholesaler.

A spokesperson for the company said: “We’re excited to bring a number of the improvements Greens have become renowned for including, plenty of Scottish and local products such as Fisher & Donaldson’s baked goods, Costa Coffee, Greens butchery, Grahams Family Dairy and lots more.”

The site of the shops on North Street has also recently seen approval for plans to convert an empty unit which had formerly been a branch of Farmfoods into a restaurant.
