Innovating the Supply Chain 2019 Archives

Summary

There is an increasing demand for less plastics and preservatives to enter the supply chain, but this causes challenges when it comes to making sure goods are delivered in good condition. Our Innovating the Supply Chain special report, published in The Times, explores how the industry is tackling its biggest concerns from sustainability to talent recruitment. It examines why end-to-end autonomy may not always be desirable and five leading examples of sustainable practice in the supply chain. It also looks at how lack of awareness, diversity issues, and working patterns are contributing factors holding the supply chain industry back in employee recruitment and retention. Also featured is an infographic looking at consumer delivery demands for online shopping and how technology can make the process more seamless, efficient and within budget.
