A CPD lecture on Project Management and Contract Administration was held at Institution of Engineers.
Vice Chancellor Karakoram International University Gilgit, Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah was the Resource Person.
Delivering the lecture, VC KIU Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah explained the issues related to Procurement Management and Contract Administration.
He also highlighted the issues related to Public Procurement Rules 2019, bidding procedures for projects, selection of consultants and technicalities in the contract management.
The VC KIU also responded to the questions of the participants by giving examples based on his personal experience as VC of two universities and Project Director of a large university.
At the end of the lecture Chairman IEP Hafiz M. Ehsanul Haq Qazi expressed his special thanks to the Resource Person for delivering a lecture on an important topic of Procurement Management and Contract Administration.
He urged the young engineers to develop their skills by continuously attending the CPD lectures.
He further called on all Engineers to exercise the right of their vote in the upcoming Elections of Pakistan Engineering Council.
