Helping Customers Meet Their Supply Chain Challenges

Kim Larsen, VP of Commercial & Business Development at Abu Dhabi Ports says that the industry is looking at another year of “significant challenges” in the supply chain and Abu Dhabi Ports aims to be part of the solution for its clients.

According to Mr Larsen Abu Dhabi Ports is presently in the “solution mode” where it is helping customers meet their supply chain challenges with feeder and logistics services that allow them to run their businesses smoothly.

With regard to technologies Mr Larsen is of the opinion that the ports and logistics sectors have been slow to adopt them but the pandemic had greatly accelerated the digital transformation of the supply chain with the adoption of AI and blockchain auguring a bright future for the industry.

The AD Ports Group with operations in ports, logistics, industrial and free zones can offer integrated solutions to customers to meet their supply chain requirements.

Mr Larsen feels that collaborations can offer great benefits to the industry and facilitate trade not only in the UAE but in neighbouring countries as well. He then goes on to invite other global and local logistics industry players to explore ways to create greater efficiencies in the supply chain by partnering with the AD Ports Group.
