
RAPIDLY GROWING ENGINEERING FIRM – FLEXIBLE – HEAD OF INDIRECT PROCUREMENT – SENIOR LEADERSHIP – £80K + BENEFITS
My client is expanding rapidly and looking to take on an ambitious procurement professional with experience in a regulated industry to head up their indirects category with management of 5 procurement professionals. This role sits as part of the senior leadership team, with fantastic growth plans in place for the next 2-4 years. The successful procurement professional will have the drive and gravitas to lead teams towards strategic success and work with c-suite stakeholder across the group.
HEAD OF INDIRECT PROCUREMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop & execute long-term procurement strategies across indirect categories including but not limited to HR, Professional Services, IT and marketing.
- Leading a high-achieving team, focusing both on delivery of savings and progression of your team.
- Responsible for driving cost efficiencies and delivering sourcing projects, demonstrating your expertise both internally and externally.
- Drive the sourcing process, supplier risk management and collaborate effectively with other members of senior leadership to develop the procurement strategy
- Able to work in ambiguous and complex environments, understanding the internal needs of the company and the external customer.
HEAD OF INDIRECT PROCUREMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of general indirect procurement categories with the ambition to lead strategic teams
- Understanding of regulated industries and policies.
