Robitaille, Harvey LATHAM Harvey Robitaille, 85, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, after several months of declining health. Harvey, recently of Hopkinton, Mass., was a 60-year resident of Latham, where he resided with his late wife Genevieve “Gail” Robitaille. Harvey was the son of the late Harvey Sr. and Rita Robitaille of Cohoes. Harvey was born in Cohoes and graduated from Cohoes High School. He was a member of the Troy Naval Reserve serving several years of active duty. Following his service, Harvey was employed in the material management department of Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation and later retired after 35 years. Harvey was a member of the Colonie Elks and the NIMO 25-year club. He enjoyed bowling with the Latham Senior League and trips to the casino. He was a gifted piano player and enjoyed basketball whether playing in his youth or as a fan. Harvey is survived by his two children, David Robitaille of North Providence, R.I. and Debi Robitaille with her husband Tim McCain of Hopkinton, Mass. Harvey also has two loving grandchildren, Chris and Courtney McCain. A private service will be held for Harvey on Monday, August 8, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet.
