Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Breach said they have charged a Hardin County man with child sexual abuse material.David Smith, 38, was arrested as a result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation by KSP. Smith was arrested on a warrant Thursday.Police said that equipment Smith was using to facilitate the crimes was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic lab to be examined.Smith is currently facing six counts of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance, which is a Class-D felony and punishable by one to five years in prison.Smith is being held in the Hardin County Detention Center as KSP investigates the situation.
