A frack tank spilled red diesel around Old Goliad Road and Bob White Road

VICTORIA County- Victoria County confirms a hazardous material spill off Loop 463. About 15,000 gallons of red diesel from a frack tank entered the waterway into Dry Creek around Old Goliad Road and Bob White Road. Reports indicate a frack tank spilled red diesel. People in the area are aware.

Victoria County Judge Ben Zeller said, “Details are still being determined; however, it appears to be a significant environmental and public safety hazard. Local, state, and federal agencies are onside at this time.”

Leaders will hold a press conference at 3 p.m. near the site of the spill.

A press release said on Sunday afternoon a concerned citizen alerted the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office about diesel in Dry Creek.
