Gummi bear maker Haribo to break ground on Pleasant Prairie factory later this year
The village of Pleasant Prairie has finalized the sale of 136.8 acres of land to gummi treats maker Haribo. The land is located in Prairie Highland Corporate Park, where the company plans to build its first North American manufacturing facility.Haribo’s factory groundbreaking is scheduled to take place later this year.The facility will produce Goldbears gummi bears and other treats. The facility is expected to include a warehouse, manufacturing facility, administrative building and later on a day care center, fitness building and retail experience for the public.
