Greater Things Ministry Food Distribution

The Greater Things Ministry in Johnstown hosted another Food Distribution event Saturday afternoon. Organizers say they hold the drives every other Saturday at the Greater johnstown High School. Each food drive can serve between 500 and 600 families, and that anyone who is in need can come. The Organizer says he’s seen these drives get busier and busier as the Pandemic has gone on.

Josh Knipple of the Greater Things Ministry saying: “People are at this spot now where maybe their Stimulus check has run out, maybe they were thinking by now this was gonna be over, they heard the news of things were opening back up, so they’re like ok we’re good to go again, and the reality is, we’re still in a tough time. We’re still struggling as a whole in Johnstown to get through these times.”

He says donations can be dropped off or mailed to Crucified Church in Johnstown.
