Globus adds new date for Kimberley trip due to popular demand – Travel Weekly

Aussie travellers are so keen on Globus Family of Brands’ ‘Contrasts of the Kimberley’ itinerary that the wholesaler has added an additional date.

Priced from $5,315.40, the 10-day Top End trip, beginning in Darwin and ending in Broome, is close to selling out on all dates in 2021, so a new departure date of 19 September has been tacked on.

This itinerary is part of GFOB’s new collection of Australia and New Zealand tours, launched in October 2020 and created specifically with local travellers in mind.

All of the newly launched tours have been selling well, according to Chris Fundell, head of marketing for Australasia at GFOB.

“It’s been so encouraging to see strong bookings coming from our trade partners for our newly launched Australia and New Zealand product,” he said.

“While Australians can’t travel overseas right now, there’s plenty to explore in our own backyard in 2021. We’re delighted to have this solid start to the new year and be driving some business to our trade partners at this time.”

For all 2021 bookings made before 31 January, GFOB is also offering 10 per cent off Globus’ Australia and New Zealand itineraries and complimentary SafetyNet Booking Protection, giving customers the opportunity to cancel with no penalties up to 30 days prior to their trip, or to amend their holiday up to 24 hours in advance of their tour departure (valued at $105 per person).
