DUBLIN, Ireland – A major drug bust took place on Thursday night in Dublin.
Garda arrested three men and seized a firearm and drugs worth €360,000 in the operation, which was led by members of drugs units based at Sundrive Road and Crumlin Stations. The units have been targeting local drugs distribution networks.
“The drugs and firearm were discovered when officers searched a residence in the Ballyfermot area on Thursday evening. MDMA tablets with an estimated street value of €360,000 along with a Glock pistol , ammunition and cash were seized during the search,” a gardai statement released on Friday said,.
“Three men (aged in their late 20s, 30s and 50s) have been arrested by investigating Garda. They are currently detained and can be held for up to seven days.”
Gardai say investigations are ongoing and further updates will follow.
