Following assurance by govt of starting procurement process from today, BKU agrees to lift blockade : The Tribune India

Following assurance given by the government of starting the procurement process from Saturday, BKU Charuni has agreed to lift the blockade.

BKU (Charuni) spokesman Rakesh Bains said the government had assured them to start the weighing process; the J forms will be issued from October 1.

Demanding the advancement of paddy procurement, members of the BKU (Charuni) on Friday blocked the Delhi-Chandigarh National Highway in Shahabad.
