Kolkata: The state government on Wednesday issued directives to mandatorily follow the e-tendering process to make any procurement over Rs 1 lakh. The directive said for tender value of over Rs 1 lakh, it had to be posted on the e-tender portal.
The tender must be published in print media as well.
State finance secretary Manoj Pant issued the directive tohave better checks. E-tendering order initiated in 2013 was for procurement over Rs 5 lakh. tnn
