FIRE crews have raced to tackle a large factory blaze in Dundee as a giant smoke cloud is seen over the city.
Scottish Fire and Rescue were called to Baldovie Industrial Estate in the city shortly at 8pm as the blaze got out of control.
Pictures and video footage has emerged online of the ginormous smoke cloud billowing over the sky above – which could be seen for miles.
Both police and fires crews are in attendance and will be for some time as the services work to put out the blaze.
Fire crews have five appliances on the scene.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted at 8.14pm on Sunday, June 7 to reports of a fire within an industrial estate on Forties Road in Dundee.

“Operations Control mobilised four fire and one height appliance to the scene and firefighters are working to extinguish the flames.
“Crews will remain in attendance for some time.”
