Oklahoma City artist collective Factory Obscura has launched an immersive virtual tour of its interactive “Mix-Tape” experience called “Mix-Tape 360.”
The new 3-D virtual experience features behind-the-scenes photos, making-of stories, never-before-published factoids and more.
As previously reported, Factory Obscura announced in March that it was temporarily closing its popular attraction at 25 NW Ninth on Automobile Alley (formerly The Womb) in response to the coronavirus pandemic. The hands-on, interactive art playground remains closed.
Also as previously reported, Factory Obscura launched its “Live at Mix-Tape” live-stream performing arts series in response to the pandemic. It is continuing to showcase performances by musicians, actors, dancers and other artists at 6 p.m. every Friday and Saturday night.
Factory Obscura is asking people to consider making a donation of any amount to the art collective as admission to the “Mix-Tape 360” virtual tour. Donations will go to support the organization’s mission and artists while “Mix-Tape” is closed due to the pandemic.
