Oklahoma City artistic collective Factory Obscura has announced a reopening plan for its popular immersive attraction “Mix-Tape.”
As previously reported, Factory Obscura announced in March that it was temporarily closing its popular attraction at 25 NW Ninth on Automobile Alley (formerly The Womb) in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
The reopening for the hands-on, interactive art playground is planned in phases, with safety guidelines such as mandatory masks for guests, required advanced reservations and social distancing standards.
“In the meantime, we are sanitizing and adjusting our space to maximize safety, and we are adding a few fun new details to the experience while we’re at it,” according to a statement at www.factoryobscura.com.
Here is the plan to reopen Mix-Tape:
Phase 1: Private shopping
The Mix-Tape Gift Shop is now available for private shopping appointments by reservation.
People can spend 30 minutes exploring the little shop, which is stocked with unique, handmade and exclusive items from the Factory Obscura artists. Shoppers can also get you a sneak peek at a new piece the artists been working on.
