Factory fire call was steam being let off from machinery

FIREFIGHTERS responding to an alarm at a commercial premises this morning discovered that it was due to steam being let off from factory machinery.

The incident occurred at a factory in Churchstoke just before 7.30am, with no fire found on arrival by firefighters from Montgomery Fire Station.

The station tweeted: “Incident 07:23, 03P1 mobilised to commercial alarms actuating at a premises in Churchstoke, no sign of smoke or fire on arrival, alarm actuating due to steam let off from factory machinery.”
