UK-based event logistics company, Europa Showfreight, has appointed Jack Baxter as its new general manager.
Europa Showfreight is one of six divisions which make up logistics firm, Europa Worldwide Group, the others being Europa Warehouse, Europa Air & Sea, Europa Road, Europa Contact Centre and Contiental Cargo Carriers.
Baxter has been working for Europa Showfreight as a business development manager since 2018. He will now lead the division alongside operations manager Paul Brady. The pair will be working together to expand the division and develop the sales force when the events industry recovers.
Baxter said: “We firmly believe that the events industry will bounce back strongly next year and with the recovery will come opportunity to really push forward the Showfreight division.
“We’re implementing a new structure to solely focus on growth. As soon as the industry fires back up, we’ll be looking to expand our sales team to make the most of every opportunity post-lockdown. The last four months have been a challenge, but we are now only looking to the future.”
