Webinar Description

Supply chains have been experiencing an increasing number of disruptions in the past 3 years, with many being both unfamiliar and unpredicted. All have operational implications. Coupled with this there is increased scrutiny from organizational leaders and wider stakeholders on the effectiveness of supply chain risk management. This has led to a drive for increased resiliency.

Recent Gartner research shows that being more proactive and better prepared for disruptions is a key area of focus as the risk environment is continually evolving. Many are now seeking support and investment for resiliency activities. But to do this effectively, supply chain leaders must position risk management as a business enabler. They need to develop and build on risk capability, define risk strategy and to identify, prioritize, mitigate, and monitor supply chain risks on a proactive basis. Only by doing this, can organizations be prepared for risk.

What you will learn:

  • Clarity on the linkages between risk management and resiliency
  • Clear understanding of risk management strategies to shape disruption and respond to risk
  • Ways to build on your risk management capability to enhance your risk response.

Heather Wheatley, Senior Director, Analyst, Gartner
