Dockers put duo on the trade table

Fremantle is willing to move on forward Jesse Hogan in the upcoming trade period, if a suitor emerges.

The Age’s Daniel Cherny is reporting that the Dockers were not happy with Hogan’s recent indiscretion, which saw him fined $8000 by the West Australian government for breaching COVID-19 quarantine protocols.

Hogan played seven games in 2020 for Fremantle, dealing with injury issues once again and spending time in the backline at times in their reserves. He has a contract with the club for 2021.

The report indicates that midfielder Connor Blakely has also been put on the trade block.

Blakely has two years to run on his current contract.

The 24-year-old played five games for Fremantle in 2020 and struggled to break into Justin Longmuir’s preferred side.

Channel 7’s Ryan Daniels is reporting that Sydney have inquired about trading for Hogan.
