Director William Kaufman’s Action Film THE CHANNEL Secures North American Distribution for an April 2023 Release! – ACTION-FLIX

We’ve got new and exciting details for Director William Kaufman’s latest bullet filled action epic. The Channel which was helmed by the man who also did such indie classics as Sinners and Saints and Daylight’s End has secured North American distribution and will be launched in April of 2023.

Deadline brought the word as Grandave International has sold the movie to Brainstorm Entertainment who is planning a theatrical and VOD release for April of next year. The film stars Max Martini as well as Clayne Crawford (TV’s Lethal Weapon) as brothers who are about to have a real bad day when their bank heist goes terribly awry.

The film centers on “a desperate criminal, his out-of-control brother, and their motley crew of ex-marines who, after their bank heist goes wrong, must escape New Orleans and the determined FBI agent who pursues them.”

Needless to say I have been promoting The Channel heavily since it’s conception and well into filming as each little tidbit of news dropped. I even had the opportunity to speak with William Kaufman once again last year while he was making the movie. Check out the exclusive chat here?

Key Art was also released earlier this year which showcases the cast and rocks a great retro feel to the posters of the 80’s.

Mr. Kaufman was even gracious enough to send Action-Flix exclusive photos when production was well underway. Each image shows off the cast in all their tactical glory sporting some rad and ominous skull masks. Needless to say, the bullets and squibs will fly when this one hits.

Keep it locked and loaded right here here for more to come from The Channel as we are your destination for everything action in 2022 and beyond!
