Diego’s Burrito Factory owners buy Los Antojitos in Panama City’s historic St. Andrews

PANAMA CITY — Los Antojitos Mexican Restaurant in St. Andrews is under new management.

Brothers Ismael Barragan and Silvino Barragan, along with Omar Taleb, recently bought the restaurant from Matt and Mynta Harbison, who decided to retire, according to a post on Los Antojitos’ Facebook page.

The Barragans and Taleb already own two Diego’s Burrito Factory restaurants in Panama City Beach. The Barragans also own Los Rancheros restaurants in and around Bay County.

Los Antojitos first opened in 1976 on U.S. 98, but moved in 2016 in St. Andrews to become a staple of the historic district.

According to the Facebook post, the former owners are looking forward to traveling more and spending more time together as a family.

“We have poured our hearts and souls into Los Antojitos over the past 20 years,” the Harbisons said in the post. “We are humbled by all of our loyal customers and employees. We feel confident that Los Antojitos will continue to be Fun funky and always fresh and a local favorite for years to come!”

Los Antojitos will continue to provide excellent fresh Mexican food, great margaritas along with live music, the post adds.
