First Minister Nicola Sturgeon described it as a “complex and potentially significant cluster” and said she could not rule out a local lockdown if cases continue to rise.

The military has set up a mobile testing unit in the grounds of the factory so that all employees can be assessed.

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon confirmed at her Wednesday afternoon briefing that the number of cases had risen from 10 on Tuesday night to 17.
