Coronavirus Temporarily Closes Foxborough Fit Factory

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Two Fit Factory gyms, one in Foxborough and the other in North Attleboro, temporarily closed Thursday after a member told the company they tested positive for the coronavirus.

Deep cleaning was done at the gyms before they were able to reopen. Following the cleaning, the Foxborough location reopened at 5 a.m., Friday, and the North Attleboro gym reopened at 2 p.m., Thursday, Lauren LeJeune, a corporate spokesperson told the Sun Chronicle. But not all gym members received notification of the closing.

“Unfortunately, if a member has unsubscribed to our emails, they would not have received that email, but would have still been able to learn about the closure via social media and the club door,” LeJeune told the Sun Chronicle.

Fit Factory also has locations in Kingston, Braintree and Berlin. Those gyms remained open.
