Participants can learn simple everyday self-care tools for themselves and their children and develop some basic dialectical behavior therapy and mindfulness skills for supporting children through tough times. Superior: The Superior Jaycees host their annual Gitchee Gumee Brewfest fundraiser from 2-6 p.m. at Wessman Arena. The event will showcase brewers from across the region. VIP admission runs from 2-3 p.m., followed by general admission from 3-6 p.m. VIP tickets are $55 per person. In addition to early entrance to the event, VIP ticket holders also receive access to a VIP area and an unlimited taco bar. General admission runs from 3-6 p.m. The cost is $30 per person. The Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO) Chapter EL from Ashland is hosting a wine bundle fundraiser for its Community Partnership Scholarship. Donate $25 and receive a mystery bottle of wine, certificate for a free tasting at White Winter Winery in Iron River, original artwork by Karen Thiel and chocolates. Since 2017, the Community Partnership Scholarship has been awarded to young women graduating from Ashland, Bayfield, Drummond, Northwestern, South Shore or Washburn high schools.
