JOB PURPOSE
The Commercial Procurement Admin role is to ensure that the procurement of all Non Stock products and services adheres to Burberry policy in a timely and efficient
manner. Delivering excellence in Procurement through timely and accurate service to the Category Manager and business stakeholders. The overall job purpose for this role is to:
- Provide analysis on suppliers, markets and RFP’s
- Execute Cost Modelling
- Provide support in the set-up and execution of e-Sourcing events within Ariba
- Provide ad-hoc and new reports
RESPONSIBILITIES
There are a number of different key responsibilities within the Procurement Administrator role, which are outlined below:
- Procurement Process and sourcing support
- Support Category Planning including providing spend data analysis
- Analyse category and review supply market
- Support development of sourcing wave strategy
- Support development of sourcing project including
- Set up sourcing event on system including granting access to key stakeholders
- Baseline creation and review of existing contract landscape
- Analyse and summarise forecast demand
- Gather existing suppliers performance data and review their capabilities
- Support Category Manager in develop and execute negotiation and summarise final recommendation
- Manage e-Auction events including
- Work with Category Management to perform contract management support activities in Ariba, obtains, verify and upload executed contracts into Ariba on a timely basis
- Sets up and manages contract management system alerts in Ariba
- Consulting Category Management / Source to Contract Co-ordinator to get guidance on contract management activities as needed
- Provides contract management support activities within established service level agreements
- Key focus on continuous improvement
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Relevant experience in Operational Procurement or strategic sourcing
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to inspire trust and confidence Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint required
- Knowledge of SAP and advantage
- High level of competence in MS Office products (Word, Excel) Knowledge of e-sourcing solutions an advantage (preferably Ariba)
