The Cold Storage Warehouse now located on Roberts Road at the old Edgewood Warehouse Site is now open and in full operation.

Cleanup at the former Edgewood Warehouse Site has been completed and the property is eligible for redevelopment. The new cold storage warehouse standing at the site is now fully operational and has begun use.
“Additional cleanup was needed at the site before it could be developed,” Director of Development and Planning, Rebecca Wurster shared with the OBSERVER. “The warehouse company (The Krog Group) that owns the new facility is hoping to expand, but not right away.”
The cold storage facility is currently being utilized by Fieldbrook Foods of Dunkirk to store finished product while it awaits shipping to its many customers across the U.S. Fieldbrook Foods, recently acquired by Wells Enterprises, is an industry-leading producer of ice cream and other frozen desserts including private-label brands that are household names throughout the world.
Recently the city has put in for a $500,000 grant to cleanup and redevelop the Niagara Motor site, making it a Brownfield site as well.
