ERP is a great tool of information technology intervention, which will help CIL improve its business performance and growth with enhanced data integrity and cost effectiveness. This will in turn help the national miner evolve as a global player. Before ERP, working was localized and discreetin subsidiary companies of CIL, lacking standardisation and unification in business process across CIL. Implementation of SAP ERP enables CIL get reliable and accurate real-time data from source which will help in informed decision making, consistent results thus achieving operational excellence and improve productivity with greater transparency.
