Check Point Software Technologies ANZ head of channels Leo Lynch
Security vendor Check Point Software Technologies has appointed Leo Lynch to the new role of ANZ head of channels, and John Marshall to the role of ANZ head of distribution.

We are doubling down in our commitment to bringing state-of-the-art cyber security solutions for the ANZ market and reinforcing the role our partners play in our strategy. Both Leo and John are highly experienced in their fields, bringing years of vendor and partner strategy development and sales management skills to further expand our business locally.” said Check Point Australia country manager Rodney Thorne.
Lynch joins Check Point with over two decades of experience in key markets across Asia Pacific.
He most recently worked as APAC vice president of sales at Arcserve, and has also held senior sales positions at StorageCraft, Huawei, IBM, EMC, and HP.

Lynch studied business, marketing and economics at the University of Technology Sydney.
Marshall joins the company after 10 years at Arrow ECS, most recently as ANZ sales director.
He previously worked in channel and distribution management at Wavelink, Zylotech and Kyocera, and as business development manager at Epson.
In related news, Mark Baker was recently appointed as New Zealand country manager.
The new executives will take up their new roles in March 2022.
