CENTER TOWNSHIP AND HOMER CITY BOROUGH TO HOLD FOOD DISTRIBUTION EVENT TOMORROW

Center Township and Homer City Borough are once again teaming up for a food distribution event on Saturday to help out low-to-middle income residents in those areas.

The event will be held on Saturday, April 9th from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Center Township Building on Neal Road.  Both municipalities are teaming up with ICCAP for the effort.  This marks the third food distribution drive being put on for Center Township and Homer City Borough residents.  Center Township supervisor Jim Gatskie says that the other efforts in the past have been so successful that they’ve run out of food each time.

There will be no pre-registration for this distribution.  Registration will happen at the time of the event.

The food was paid for through the combined CDBG-Covid-19 grant money for both Center Township and Homer City Borough, and will mark the final food distribution event as both municipalities have used up the entire grant funds.

For more information on the food distribution, log on to the Center Township website, www.center-twp.com
