OmniTRAX, a Denver-based private railroad and transportation management company and affiliate of The Broe Group, has hired Justin Strickland as director of economic development.
Strickland will support all phases of business growth and act as a liaison with economic development partners in the U.S. Southeast.
He most recently was the president of the Albany Economic Development Commission in Albany, Georgia.
HFW
HFW, a law firm with more than 200 shipping lawyers and master mariners across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, has promoted Claire Womersley to partner and Caroline Murphy and Katherine Noble to legal director, effective April 1.
Womersley is a master mariner who spent nine years at sea on large passenger vessels and ro-ro freight ferries before joining HFW. Her practice encompasses all aspects of crisis response and litigation arising from marine casualties.
Murphy deals with a wide range of dry shipping disputes. She also acts on contractual disputes arising from purchase contracts involving oil.
Noble specializes in asset finance with a particular emphasis on ship finance.
Southeastern Freight Lines
Southeastern Freight Lines announced that Brandon Graham has been promoted to service center manager in Montgomery, Alabama.
Graham has more than five years of experience at Southeastern’s Austell, Georgia, service center, starting his career as a front-line leader. He has served in various leadership positions during his time with the company, including operations manager and, most recently, assistant service center manager.
Southeastern Freight Lines is a privately owned regional less-than-truckload transportation services provider that operates 89 service centers in 13 states, Canada and Puerto Rico.
