Brampton Board of Trade names Heather Strati 2022 Business Person of the Year

Heather Strati is the Brampton Board of Trade's 2022 Business Person of the Year.

The Brampton Board of Trade has named Heather Strati its 2022 Brampton Business Person of the Year. 

The Business Person of the Year is awarded to an individual that has demonstrated “business excellence and community leadership, contributing to Brampton in both professional and personal endeavours.” 

Strati is a partner and the risk leader in Deloitte Private in the Toronto and South Western Ontario area with 27 years of experience in the profession. She has be an adviser in various industries, including manufacturing, consumer business, professional services, public private partnerships, and real estate. In addition, she has worked with a diverse group of clients in Brampton, ranging from privately-held companies of all sizes to large public companies.

The board of trade noted that Strati focuses her efforts in “guiding clients through business issues such as growth strategy and operational matters, as well as financial reporting requirements and related business and tax planning matters.”

Strati is also involved in professional and community organizations including the Past Chair of the Brampton Board of Trade, the Advisory Council to Ryerson University School of Accounting and Finance, Canada’s Best Managed Companies award program and Woman Entrepreneur of the Year. She is Past Treasurer of Cardinal Leger Council, and Past Member of St. Mary’s Church Council in Brampton. Strati also acts as a mentor to several individuals.

She will be presented with the 2022 Business Person of the Year award at the Brampton Board of Trade Business Excellence Awards Gala on May 5, 2022.
