MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) — A Bon Secour man has been sentenced to more than 20 years on federal drug charges.

Jacob Steven Miller pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and two counts of carrying a firearm in furtherance of those drug crimes.

Court documents show Miller, 26, had two run-ins with law enforcement in May 2019 and February 2020. Investigators said that in both cases Miller was carrying drugs and a gun.

In the February 2020 incident, authorities recovered 730 grams of meth, other drug-relative evidence, about $3,500 in cash along with a gun.
