Bionetics Properly Removed From Air Force Equipment Procurement

The U.S. Air Force reasonably eliminated The Bionetics Corp. from its procurement to provide aerospace ground equipment services at two Air Force bases because the contractor’s bid didn’t satisfy pricing requirements, the GAO said in a decision released Wednesday.

Bionetics’ submission of two labor rates that didn’t meet or exceed minimum labor rates in collective bargaining agreements in place at the bases made the bid exclusion reasonable, the Government Accountability Office said.

The agency said it would remove bids from the competitive range for failing to meet CBA rates, the GAO said.
