Biman flight to China’s Guangzhou takes off

Biman Bangladesh Airlines started operating flights on Dhaka-Guangzhou-Dhaka route from yesterday morning.

State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali inaugurated the flight at Dhaka airport.

Biman General Manager (Public Relations) Tahera Khondoker said Biman will operate one flight to Guangzhou.

The long-awaited flights on the Dhaka-Guangzhou route are expected to lessen the woes of Bangladeshi students and businessmen traveling to China.

Chairman of Biman Board of Directors Sazzadul Hasan, Secretary of  Ministry of Civil Aviation Md Mokammel Hossain, Chairman of Bangladesh  Civil Aviation Authority Air Vice Marshal M Mafidur  Rahman, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Biman Md Zahid  Hossain and Executive Director of HSIA Group Captain Kamrul Islam,  among others, were present at the programme.
