Cancellation of the Põlva Smart Road procurement and organisation of new procurement
Bercman Technologies AS (hereinafter “Bercman“) announces that yesterday, Põlva rural municipality government declared invalid the Põlva Smart Road procurement by a decision of the contracting authority and will carry out a new public procurement.
The procurement is declared invalid due to a violation by the contracting authority during the procurement procedure stage with regard to the time limits for filing requests.

I hope that despite the slight detour, the rural municipality can soon move forward with building the smart road and set a good example for other cities in Estonia as well as other countries on how to slow traffic and influence smart road users to reduce their speed.”
The tender submitted by Bercman and declared as the winner of the procurement on 29.03.2022 met all the procurement conditions. Bercman published a stock exchange notice on winning the Põlva Smart Road procurement on 30.03.2022.
