BelOrta has sweet pointed peppers available again

As of Friday, the Belgian cooperative BelOrta has sweet pointed peppers available again. Luc Van Den Bosch grew these first sweet peppers, and wholesaler, Lejeune, bought them.

Sweet pointed peppers are widely used in Mediterranean cuisine but shine in more traditional dishes too. Their delicious sweet flavor makes these peppers suitable for virtually all kinds of cooking, just like regular bell peppers. Sweet pointed peppers’ thin skins make them ideal for grilling. And, because they taste sweet, these peppers are the perfect fresh, crunchy snack.

In 2021, BelOrta supplied about 1,3 million kg of these pointed peppers, roughly the same as the previous year. This cooperative’s producers grow red, yellow, and orange sweet pointed peppers.

BelOrta bell pepper range is packed with choice
BelOrta offers sweet pointed peppers and standard (green, yellow, and red) bell pepper varieties. Besides these, its pepper assortment also includes all kinds of specialties and spicy varieties like baby bell peppers, Jalapeño, Piccantina, and Habanero. BelOrta has organic peppers in its range too.
