The Nigerian Army Ordinance School Epe, has graduated 20 officers and 14 soldiers in its Armament and Ammunition Technical Course 2022 training to further enhance material management for the Nigerian Army.
The General Officer Commanding, GOC, 81 Division, Nigerian Army, Major General Umar Musa, in a message to the graduation in Lagos said training was key element to effectiveness in the military.
Major General Musa represented by the Chief of Staff 81Division, Brig.-Gen. Dapo Oloyede said effective training provides a critical force multiplier effect for successful conduct of missions.
The General officer commanding 81 Division noted that human capacity development was a major component for the attainment of professionalism and success in every organisation.
General Musa urged the grandaunts to remain focused and professional in all their assigned duties to justify the resources committed to their training.
The commandant of Nigerian Army Ordnance school, Major General Adeyemi Alabi, said this year’s Training Cycle, witnessed improved collaboration with professional organisations to enhance the capacity of staff and the students.
The Vice-Chancellor of Lagos state University professor Ibiyemi Olatunji Bello commended the commandant for a good job and looked forward to more collaboration with the institution.
