BOSTON HEIGHTS, Ohio — Arhaus, a leading home furnishings manufacturer and retailer, introduced its Spring 2022 collection, Fresh Perspectives, including more than 100 new items. Along with the launch, the company has been expanding its manufacturing operations in the U.S. to keep pace with consumer demand.
The company introduced an expanded range of upholstery options including the Crypton Home Performance collection, now offered in more than 60 fabrics and 16 aniline-dyed leathers.
“Gone are the days of keeping pets, wine and favorite snacks off the sofa,” said John Reed, Arhaus co-founder and CEO. “Our Performance Fabric collections are soft, beautiful and made to be lived on in your favorite sun-drenched rooms. They don’t just stand up to spills, stains and odors, they repel them.”
In order satisfy demand, Arhaus is opening a new upholstery manufacturing and distribution center in North Carolina. This facility will double in-house upholstery manufacturing facilities by adding 310,000 square feet of distribution capacity, in addition to 187,000 square feet of upholstery manufacturing.
“We’ve partnered with upholstery artisans in North Carolina for 35 years, a testament to our belief in the unmatched quality of our American-made collections,” said Reed. “From cushions sewn by hand for luxurious comfort to sustainably sourced wood frames that are crafted for strength and stability, you’ll find an exceptional level of beauty that can only come from handcrafting every detail in this region.”
In addition, the company has begun a 230,000-square-foot expansion of its distribution and corporate office facility in Boston Heights, Ohio.
Arhaus is planning to add a third distribution facility in the Western U.S. in the second half of 2022.
