Muscat: Ahead of Eid Al Fitr, the Muscat Municipality has set new working hours at the Al Mawaleh Central Market for vegetables and fruits.
“As Eid Al Fitr 1443 approaches, the opening hours of the central market for vegetables and fruits will be as follows :
1- Working hours on the remaining days of Ramadan from 4:30 am until 10 pm.
2- The market will be open on Friday 27th Ramadan corresponding to April 29, 2022 for wholesalers, retailers and consumers.
3- Wholesalers may enter through Gate 1 as usual, while consumers may enter through Gate 2.
4- Operation of the central market will stop on the first and second days of Eid Al Fitr.
Work will resume on the third day of Eid according to the following dates :
1- Access of wholesalers from Gate 1 from 5 am to 1 pm
2- Access for retailers and consumers from Gate 2 from 5 am to 10 pm .
3- The Market is closed on Fridays, ” Muscat Municipality said in a statement.
