Aire Networks, a major telecommunications wholesaler, reinforces its offer for companies with the purchase of Lcrcom

We started this week talking about the takeover bid that the MásMóvil Group had received and it seems that the purchase movements in the telecommunications sector they don’t end there. According to Movilonia, the OMV specialized in SMEs Lcrcom has just been acquired by Aire Networks del Mediterráneo, a company based in Alicante and owner of the brand for individuals Ion Mobile.

With this movement, Aire Networks intends strengthen its offer of solutions for companies, something in which Lcrcom has extensive experience. The operation has already been approved by the National Commission of Markets and Competition (CNMC)

Although it is not well known among private users, Lcrcom is specialized in professionals and small and medium-sized companies, a sector where last year it celebrated its 20th Anniversary. At the end of 2019, Lcrcom had a network of more than 400 distributors distributed throughout the national territory, an annual turnover of 24.5 million euros and a portfolio made up of more than 17,000 companies, to which it mainly offered cloud and virtual switchboard solutions.

Several months of negotiations have been necessary, but finally, after the stoppage caused by the coronavirus, the acquisition of Lcrcom by Aire Networks It has been consolidated through the Magnum Capital II fund and has already been approved by the CNMC. Magnum Capital II is a fund owned by Magnum Capital that, in June 2018, invested in Aire Networks to drive its growth.

As of today, the details of the purchase are unknown, but an Lcrcom spokesperson has assured Movilonia that this acquisition will entail “the sharing of resources at the engineering level and development of security solutions and packaged productsIt should be clarified, however, that integration does not mean, for now, the disappearance of the Lcrcom brand, whose current headquarters are in Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid.
