In this podcast, Jeff Berman, Group News Editor for Logistics Management and the Peerless Media Supply Chain Group, interviews Kraig Foreman, President, eCommerce of DHL Supply Chain North America.
During this podcast Foreman and Berman discussed various topics, including: the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on parcel freight volumes; how DHL prepares for peak season in a “normal” year; considerations the company makes as it prepares for peak season; and how peak season differs from other promotions or holidays, among other topics.
As a member of the North American Board of Directors and head of the new eCommerce sector, Foreman leads the development and implementation of a dedicated strategy in North America to help DHL Supply Chain’s eCommerce customers realize their growth ambitions.
Foreman joined DHL Supply Chain in Canada in 1996 and has worked in a number of roles in sectors including retail, consumer goods and automotive in the U.S. and Canada. He has supported customers across the region with project management, operational start-ups, operations and solutions design. For the last 15 years, he has held executive roles primarily within the retail sector, with his focus in the last ten years increasingly devoted to the development of services for the eCommerce sector.
