New Delhi: Deshnidhi Kasliwal, a leading automobile dealer in India, passed away on late Friday in Jaipur. He had not been keeping well for quite some time.
Kasliwal was the dealer principal of Kamal Auto, with dealerships in Kota and Jaipur. He served as the president of Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) during 2003-04 and was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the dealers’ lobby body in 2018.
An LLB by profession, he had over 45 years of work experience in the field of automobile trade, manufacturing and finance.
Kasliwal started vehicle finance to facilitate his automobile dealership sales. It was this vision which led to formation of Kamal Auto Finance, an NBFC with a large presence in Rajasthan.
He also served as the director of the Kota Motor Wheeler Dealers’ Association.
